Vapor Blasting is a relatively new industrial cleaning method that combines the best aspects of two fundamentally different technologies: wet (high pressure washing) and dry (sand blasting). Vapor blasting can be used to clean and restore old cars, restore / repair boats, remove paint from metal and concrete surfaces, clean graffiti, clean industrial process equipment, and much much more.

Vapor Blasting get’s its name from the use of water mixed with abrasive media (think sand although sand is not really used anymore because of health concerns). Vapor Blasting uses about a quart to a half gallon of water a minute in contrast to 3-5 gallons of water a minute in a pressure washer. Vapor Blasting uses 80% less grit (examples: sand, garnet, crushed glass, etc…) than traditional dry blasting. This makes it very environmentally friendly.

By reducing blasting pressure, water consumption and abrasive grit consumption, Vapor Blasting:

• makes much less mess to clean up,
• reduces waste disposal,
• is safer to operate and perform work,
• offers comparable cleaning speeds,
• reduces worker fatigue,
• reduces interruption to other contractor trades and/or business operations,
• achieves cleaner surface results and
• offers much broader cleaning / remediation applications
• and much, much more!
